We traveled under cloudy skies for what will probably be our last night on the road. As we traveled through West Virginia, we were reminded of the beauty of this state (and the Eastern part of the country) with its gently rolling hills, mountains, green fields, and rivers. The colors of the leaves are beginning to change here in West Virginia and a few leaves are starting to fall.
Since the forecast is for rain early tomorrow morning we decided to “camp” in a cabin complete with heat and a bathroom! (It’s no fun packing up a campsite in the rain. ) Blackwater Falls State Park is truly beautiful. We are not too far from home and hope to come back again. It is a perfect ending to a WONDERFUL trip.
