Today was a very lazy day, just R & R with one of our many friends who (sadly) live so far away that we have to go on road trips around the country to see them. It’s also time to catch up on email, pay bills, update our travel blog, do laundry, and most important, catch up with friends. If my memory serves me correctly, it was the year of the solar eclipse, 2017, that we last visited – that’s far too long between visits with good friends.

Dinner tonight was delightful. Same place as last night, but tonight was prime rib night. That’s one cut of meat I very seldom cook myself because it’s so hard to find really good prime rib in the supermarkets. It was cooked to perfection and there was nothing left to put in the doggy-bag.

After dinner, Peggy and Candy watched a movie and I squandered my time browsing the internet. (The movie is one that we had seen before.) Following that, it was off to slumberland.
