Well after another pleasant visit with friends, it was time to head to San Diego. It was a hot, sunny day, upper 90’s, but happily the car air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable.

Unfortunately, our trip was all on the interstates. (DULL!!!) Early into the trip we could see the “endless road” with mountains in the distance and with little traffic. A few of the mountains still had some snow on them. About 2 hours from our destination we ran into Southern California traffic. It was stop and go for about 1 hour. Happily, we arrived in San Diego without any problems. We’ll be here for about 10 days. We’ll be sure to let you know if we do anything interesting, but there won’t be much to post while we spend the time catching up up with daughters Debbie and Amy and hopefully Peggy ‘s nephew and family. Of course, we’ll visit some of our favorite haunts like the mountain town of Julian and the Stone Brewery in Escondido.
