We woke up to another gorgeous morning and went up to market at The Rocks for breakfast which was a real delight. It would have been fun to see a real opera in the Sydney Opera House, but it just didn’t pan out.

We spent some time wandering around the Opera House and then walked up to the Convict and Police Museum. Unfortunately, there was only about 30 minutes until closing time and they are only open on weekends. After explaining that we would be returning home on Wednesday, the attendant took pity on us and allowed us to wander about free of charge until closing time. It is a fascinating museum and I just wish that we had had more time to explore it.
