Day 30: Onwards

It was good that we had been forewarned about the rain. We got up early, showered, ate breakfast, packed up our camping gear and left just as the rain started. The rain followed us for quite a ways until we got to Bateman’s Bay. In Bateman’s Bay, we stopped at a camping store and purchased the items we lacked to make our camping complete. As the weather forecast there didn’t look good, we decided to continue onward. By the time we reached Victoria (state), the weather had cleared up and turned very warm. We continued on to Bairnsdale where we purchased groceries. Near Bairnsdale is a small town called Eagle Point where we found a campground (Eagle Point Caravan Park) that truly has everything you could ask for (even internet). As a result, I am hoping to upload the posts that have been missing the past few days.

Cheers,
Wayne & Peggy
