On Monday morning we awoke to something rare and most welcome for our friends – slightly cooler temps and rain! We spent Monday and Tuesday just relaxing and visiting with our long-term friends. Although we email and talk on the phone periodically, in person visits are so much better and more fun. We ate, drank, attempted to solve the world’s problems, played Mexican Train (a version of dominoes) and just plain enjoyed being together.

Alas, tomorrow we will need to continue on our journey westward.
