Today is our last full day in Sacramento. Tomorrow we head to Sonoma to test the wines.
Peggy is helping Candy unpack moving boxes and put things away. I’m not much help in that department, but occasionally pitch in when called upon. Since the “check engine” light keeps coming on, I spent a lot of time researching possible causes. I had purchased a code scanner that read a P0031 code indicating a bad oxygen sensor, but the repairman at the Mazda dealer told us it was probably a loose gas cap. He had tightened it and the light went off and stayed off for quite a while, but then it came back on again. I have tightened the cap and that has not corrected the problem. Today, I removed and cleaned the O ring and cleaned all around the port, so we’ll see what happens.
Dinner tonight was at a lovely Mexican restaurant called Lola’s in Roseville where the food was great. After dinner, we returned to our hostess’ home where we will start preparing for the next leg of our journey tomorrow morning.
