Another day on the road gave us an extra hour of daylight as we crossed into the central time zone. We crossed the Mississippi River as we traveled from Memphis, TN into Arkansas. Unfortunately, there was no good place to stop and take a picture. Although we traveled completely on interstates today, we did enjoy some pretty scenery and mostly smooth flowing traffic.
We took advantage of the extra hour of daylight and pushed on to Little Rock. We found a comfortable hotel for the night and then went to a nearby Texas Roadhouse for the best prime rib that we’ve had in a long time.
Tomorrow, we head for Tyler, TX.
Road sign of the day: Bucksnort, (reminds me of a joke) TN near mile marker 151 on I 40.
